Novas: Project Manager ? Mid-West Region (Panel)


Novas is a voluntary organisation and Approved Housing Body working
with families, children and single adults who are disadvantaged and
socially excluded.

Novas are currently seeking applications from energetic and
enthusiastic individuals to form a panel of Project Managers in our
Mid-West region. Successful candidates will be afforded necessary
training and development in line with the role offered.

POSITION: Manager (Novas intend to form a panel of successful
applicants from which to fill future vacancies)
WHERE: Mid-West Region
CONTRACT: A range of contracts will be available depending on funding

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

* ?Minimum Level 7 Degree on National Framework of Qualifications in
Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care or a related
discipline. Acceptable related disciplines are minimum Level 7 Degree
(Major Award) in: Psychology; Counselling and Psychotherapy;
Addiction; Youth and Community Work;
* Social Work; Social Sciences; Management; Education; Healthcare
and Nursing
* One years? management experience in a supervisory capacity.
* Experience working with homeless people / homeless families and/or
other vulnerable groups, and an understanding of their needs
* Experience providing one-to-one supervision
* Have an understanding of care and case management protocols
including; care planning, needs assessment, risk
management/assessment, incident management/prevention and key-working
* An ability to manage a service where clients have multiple and
complex needs
* Experience of low threshold services and the harm reduction model
* Good working knowledge of relevant local services and the welfare
benefits system
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Good information technology (IT) skills
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Good conflict resolution skills
* A commitment to preventing and managing challenging behaviour
* A commitment to working from a trauma-informed perspective
* An openness to change
* Full clean driving licence
